Destiny awaits! Grab hold of your dreams!

Do not quit now!

AFTER THIS I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice which I had heard addressing me like [the calling of] a war trumpet said, Come up here, and I will show you what must take place in the future.

praying-hands

The following are prayers that were sent to me from Marilyn Hickey Ministries.  At the time, I was preparing for my medical board examinations and needless to say I was very anxious.  These exams determine whether or not I will be allowed to practice medicine.  Fear began to grip me as I reflected upon the negative memories of past failures in other areas of my life.  I clearly was struggling in the area of faith and I desperately needed to know that God was indeed with me.

As for many of you, your situations may have you gripped with fear.  Fear of the uncertainity of your present situation will always send you into a tail spin.  However, if you don’t allow yourself to “go there” in your mind and rest assurredly on God’s promises on your life – you will see the end of your faith.  God will be faithful and just to honor your request.  Remember that you must be strong, you must be of good courage and do not fear.  For God has already conquerred the world and in Him we are more than conquerors.  Do not allow your situation to speak words of worry, doubt and unbelief to you.  Like the serpent in the Garden of Eden, your situation speaking to you is not natural and we must be bold enough to speak to our situations (unlike Adam and Eve) and proclaim the promises of God.

My confession (as well as yours should be….) “I am the head and not the tail.  God has richly supplied all of my needs according to His riches in glory by His son Christ Jesus.  I am fearfully and wonderfully made in the image and likeness of Christ, therefore no weapon formed against me shall prosper and every tongue that rises up against me I shall condemn in Jesus’ name.”

If we boldly stand in the face of the enemy and proclaim the promises of God, then he will have no choice but to flee.  God is looking for His sons and daughters that are not ashamed of the Gospel; not ashamed of the miracle that He has already performed in their lives which is salvation; and not ashamed to share His goodness with a sick and dying world.

Are you ready for the challenge?

Stand up and Speak to the enemy at the Gate!  Proclaim the Good News!  Speak to your life and demand for it to change and line up with the word of God for your life!  It is time!

Blessed and Highly Favored,

Malissa

For wisdom and guidance…..

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.   James 1:5-6

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.  John 10:27

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord…. Psalm 37:23

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.  Psalm 32:8

Lord, you say if we lack knowledge, we can ask and you will give it to us freely.  I ask for your wisdom and guidance in my life.  I ask that you would reveal your will to me and help me to hear your voice in all things.  Thank you for ordering my steps and making them sure, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

For fear…….

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.  II Timothy 1:7

……The Lord is my helper; I will not fear……  Hebrews 13:6

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.  But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.  I John 4:18

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives so I give to you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  John 14:27-28

Heavenly Father, thank you that you have not given me a spirit of fear, but of love and power and a sound mind.  Lord, I know that fear is not from you.  You are the author of peace.  I ask you to fill me with your peace.  I resist all fear in the name of Jesus.  Thank you that I have the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are we not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.

There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.

It is not just in some of us: it’s in everyone.

And, as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear our presence automatically liberates others.”

Nelson Mandela – 1994 Inaugural Speech

What Are You Thinking?

by Dr. Myles Munroe

Until you know the truth abut you, you are living a lie.  I do not trust anybody to tell me the truth about me, nobody really knows.  The Bible states, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit” (1 Cor 2:9-10)

That is why we have to get information from the Truth.  Jesus said that, “You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free” (John 8:31).  It will set you free from people’s opinions.  Until you get the truth from the Holy Spirit, you have been living a lie.  The Bible shows us, “The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him” (John 14:7).

The Holy Spirit tells you who you are, and the world says, “We disagree.”  The Holy Spirit says what you can accomplish, and the world says, “That is not true.”  When the truth really hits you, half of your family will disagree with you because the truth about you is so unnatural to them.

Paul says, “The world cannot judge you when you are walking in the Spirit of truth” (1 Cor 2:15).  The Holy Spirit knows the truth about you, but the world cannot judge you.  They cannot discern or understand it.  That means when the Lord reveals to you what is true about you; they will not be able to handle it.

People still look at me and say, “That little boy from Bain Town, who does he think he is?”  I am glad that they don’t know who I think I am.  You better have your own thoughts about yourself, and do not allow anyone to “think” for you.

You can tell that some people do not like you in the first place, so you know that they are not going to think well of you anyhow.  Some people are wishing that you fail.  Do not look to them for any encouragement.  The world cannot receive the information that the Holy Spirit has about you.

The world does not even know who the citizens of God’s kingdom know, and the world cannot even see Him.  As a citizen of the kingdom, every day when you go to work, you should seek to do your best.  However, you should not act as though you depend on your boss, even if your organization is laying people off.  You must tell yourself, “They did not hire me, and they cannot fire me.  If I am released, it is because God does not want me to be employed here at this time.  He wants me to be deployed.  I am going to step into a higher level of living.”

It does not matter what others think.  The Holy Spirit is your Counselor.  He will change your attitude and altitude.

Good Morning,

As you begin your day I wanted to share with you a motivational message that I found to be personally encouraging.  I hope that you will find encouragement in these simple, yet powerful words.

Morning Motivation by Dr. Mike Murdock

Remember the White Stone

Your reward ceremony is closer than you realize.

Your happiness has just begun.  You are a Trophy of the grace of God.  Hell is incensed over your loyalty to God.

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it,” Rev 2:17

Remember Your Rulership

Overcomers are always on God’s mind.

He has declared that He will turn the nations of the earth over to Overcomers.

Each victory is a step toward the throne.  You are closer than you have ever been to the Palace.  Start acting like Royalty!

“And he that overcometh, and keepeth My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations”, Rev 2:26

My Prayer for you on today………….

Father,

I thank you for my brother and sister that are reading this message.  You are the God of Light and Life.  Your word illuminates our way while it simultaneously invigorates and revives our situations.  Thank you for the reminder that You have called us with a purpose.  Even though You knew our faults, habits, idiosyncrasies and short comings;  You still willingly endorse us, support us and endow us with the right to walk in the fullness of our purpose.  Often times, we get distracted and allow our doubts and fears to get the best of us.  But Father, You are always there with the gentle reminder that You know us and have known us since the beginning of time.   You will not allow us to fail.  We are new creations in You and You have given us the ability to overcome any situation that we may face.

All that You ask of us is one simple thing – do not abandon our faith!

With that simple request You remind us that even in the face of uncertainty, danger, or death – faith is our ultimate bridge to stability, safety, life.  So Father, please forgive those of us that have contemplated abandoning Your word at this pivotal point in our journey.  Forgive us for looking at our circumstances; like Peter, we nearly drowned in our mess.  Help us to always trust in and rely upon You for deliverance.  Keep us from being high minded and stubbornly self sufficient to the point where we become prideful in our abilities.  Remind us daily that it is only You that have given us the talent, the creativity, the stamina and the grace to run this race.  You are the author.  You are the Finisher.

Thank you Father for Your patience, longsuffering, kindness, meekness, gentleness, grace and mercy that You have and will continually shower upon us.  Thank you for the gentle reminder that You have all things in control, that we need not worry, and above all HOLD ON TO OUR FAITH.  Thank you Father for the truth and simplicity of Your Word.

Amen!

Have a Blessed Day.

Malissa
